You told me not to cry,
But why?
The emotions will be worse,
If there isn't any release.
Tension so tight,
I couldn't keep it in much longer.

Defences broken down,
So did I.
I couldn't see the reasons,
Why should I cry?
Water caving into darkness,
There's nothing left to let out.

Around the clock in a 12
Hour cycle, never again.
I never thought you'd make,
Me ever feel like this.
Head buried, erasing it all,
It's not working.

Walking in the gloom,
Rain pelts hard on my face.
Pulled the curtain down,
I can't tell them the truth.
