Waiting for the one she loves

by Kallie   Jun 20, 2006

She sits and awaits,
For the one who will never come,
The hope in her eyes,
So bright and full,
She could never let you go,
She needs you more then ever now,
She's slowly fading away into a blank memory,
Soon no one will remember her name,
Her scars will be a memory in the past,
She sees him,
And the one he's with,
She smiles and says she's happy for you,
Inside she's dying right in front of you,
She will never tell you the love she feels for you,
In fear you don't feel the same way,
She only would say half of what she feels,
Even that is too much to be said,
She silently walks away from you,
It's the last time she will see the daylight turn into night.

Tell me what you think!
