Cindy

by Alexis   Jun 20, 2006

Cindy is a girl the same
age as me and you
her parents hit her but
she doesn't know what to do
she sits at home with
little to eat
how would you feel if you
were the one getting beat
she acts happy when
shes with her friends
but happy won't be
how this story ends
Cindy will give up because
no one ever asked
no one ever saw what she
hid behind the mask
no one ever stopped to
hear her cry
no one saw the sad
look in her eye
don't cry for Cindy she's
in a better place
and she can again have a
real smile on her face
but there will be others
that will wear a mask
we have to help them
lets make it our task
we have to stop others
from making the same mistake
thinking life's so bad
I wonder, what will it take?
