A Girl

by Arcane Blondie   Jun 21, 2006

A girl,
Sitting in the corner of a room,
Tears running down her face,
She sits alone in the dark room,
A room that hides her emotion from the world,
Her tears invisible to family and friends,
Unseen by all but herself,
Night after night she cries these tears,
The tears being her routine,
Wiped away in the morning as to not be seen,
A girl,
Waking in the morning to an unwanted life,
One of pain and isolation,
A hidden life of self-hatred,
Her mind starting the day with the thought of death,
Her only plan for the future.
She has one goal:
Hide the scars,
No one can know,
No one can see her life of misery,
A girl,
Nothing more,
Nothing less.
