You look at me and ask "why is she so sad?".
she wont tell you that she lost the only love she ever had.
she wont tell you that he loved her and his love was but a lie.
she wont tell you how she waits with desperation in her eye.
she wont tell you that she had him and she threw his love away.
she wont tell you if you ask her, she has nothing left to say.
so dont look at me and ask why shes sitting all alone.
shes trying to forget him, live her life and just move on.
and what she cannot tell you if you ask her why shes so sad,
is that she feels like she has lost the only love she ever had.
