Clay Walls

by Pretend--ToLoveMe   Jun 21, 2006

Clay walls and brick fences.
Yellow daises and purple flowers.
Today is yesterdays tomorrow
And tomorrow is but a dream.

Days like these we don't understand,
That what we want is who we cant have.
And in those times we all seek
For things we will not want when we have them.

But tomorrow is so clear,
And we see things though positive eyes.
We watch as the hour glass drops its sand,
And it is now only half full.

And as it drops more,
And our time runs short...
Is it then that we see..
That it is days like these we wont understand?

For weeks I saw it coming,
but ignored it none the less.
For months I wished I didn't,
But no one can do anything about yesterdays mistakes.
