Scarred

What do you say to someone who is so imperfectly perfect?

Do I tell him,
I have suffered defeat,
I have lived in falsehood,
I have wept in loss,
I have been lacerated,
I have been foul.

How do I tell him, when he is so divine, that I have disgraced?

Do I say,
I am a cripple of my own accord,
I have unsound feet,
I have known hunger,
I live in despair,
I am usightly,
I have been uncouth.

Once told, he replied,

You are my friend and I love you,
You are decieved for you are legendary,
You are,
Warm, Kind, and Supple,
Eternal, Prime,
You are Passion and Solitude,
You are of high intellect,
You do not Qualm me.

Give me your devotion.
Let me take your wounds for eternity,
and I give to you my trusted love.
