Holes through My Soul

Smiles and sunshine outside of my shell
Tears and broken hearts within
Slowly it gets me back for all the pain I have caused
But what have I caused?
Salty water trickling down my face
Armies trying to hold the enemies back
Needle and thread working to sew myself back together
One hole after another
Pierced through my soul
The never-ending blackness to never leave me alone
