Dry your eyes

by ShadowedGhost210   Jun 22, 2006

I know you're hurt inside,
from the tears I see on your face.
Now dry your eyes,
I'll help you find your place.

You've heard so many lies,
those are memories you want to erase,
but you can't, you've been left alone to cry,
and you've lost all of your faith.

Don't fall behind
in this long hard race,
for your soul, I will help you find,
through all of the hate.

I know you're hurt inside,
from the tears I see on your face.
Now dry your eyes,
I'll help you find your place.

You feel stuck in a small box,
cold and damp,
held by a huge lock,
forever trapped.

In a careless world,
you are caught.
Everything twisted and turned,
you can't straighten your thoughts.

I know you're hurt inside,
from the tears I see on your face.
Now dry your eyes,
I'll help you find your place.

I give up,
you've won your little game.
Lost my luck,
thought you'd be different,
but you were just the same.
