Grandma

by Stephanie   Jun 23, 2006

Even though you are gone I can still hear you laughing at a joke.
I can see you smiling as you read a favorite book.
I can still see your beautiful face, lovely as a rose.
And I remember how you used to paint my pretty little toes!
Every night I wonder what you think and what you see.
Because I know you are out there watching over me.
Every day I pray
For something good to come to me, but it’s hard to think that nothing will be cherished in the very same way
I know you are up there dancing with the angles and flying with those golden wings.
I miss you dearly and you made life a thrill,
But most of all I love you grandma, and I always will!
