It is funny how I
Sit here and write
To people that do
Not know my plight

I look for help
In my words
I look for solace
In my actions

I have everything
That I need
But nothing that
I can dream

It seems so far away
Chasing my own tail
Lost in my own thoughts
Happy to fail

It seems every time
I look at me
I rhyme
I become simple

Some time’s it is easy
To drink alone at night
Because I do not care
About my life

I am not original
Like I hope
I am a fool
Trapping myself in a box

To look at me you would never know
To laugh with me
Makes me feel unique
But never proud

My words are all I have
My thoughts are all I give
And if you believe that
You are a fool
