Chocolate Carbonara

Oh how I wish that you would walk
away.
And how I wish that you would go
and leave me.
'Coz I love the way that you are
but I know you have to go far,
go far away.

You took me out of insanity
and held my hand through my toughest days.
You touched my heart so tenderly
I was captivated by the words you said.
So I started making you this poem
to say the recipe of my love-so-strong.

Simmer pasta until soft and tender
over the scorching heat of my romance.
Off the stove and into the sink
cooled by the water of my sweet glance.
Pour that gentle cream of love,
sprinkle chocolate on top.
I won 't take a bite
if my heart desires.
I 've got to wait
for my chocolate carbonara.

Now how I wish that you will stay
here with me.
And how I wish that you would be
here with me.
'Coz I love the way that you are,
I will show you you don 't have to go far,
go far away.

Your mesmerizing eyes
and that shine with every smile you wear.
When you lean on my shoulder,
it makes me feel that I 'm Superman.
So I started making you this poem
to say the recipe of my love-so-strong.

Simmer pasta until soft and tender
over the scorching heat of my romance.
Off the stove and into the sink
cooled by the water of my sweet glance.
Pour that gentle cream of love,
sprinkle chocolate on top.
I won 't take a bite
if my heart desires.
I 've got to wait
for my chocolate carbonara.
