Fallen Angel

by Chrissy   Jun 25, 2006

Fall angel,
Fall hard from this pedestal he's placed you upon.
Those wings you once used to fly so far away,
Are now torn and tattered, therefore you are now bound.
Bound by a karma created only by your own foolishness,
You are the hate I feel inside for him.
A remnant thought placed upon us both,
One so unbelievably haunting and impossible to destroy.
But see, in the end, it is I who wins,
For you built him strong for me to knock down.
You are but a fallen angel,
And I...I am light.
Watch me shine,
Giving him the gift of sight.
So angel close your eyes,
Allow the darkness that led you astray,
To slowly consume all of you,
Erasing you completely from his conscious mind
