Simply Me

by CoLliN   Jun 25, 2006

Partners in crime
willing to do the time
the time in each other's detention
forever caught in my hugs
never knowing what i might say next

a heart as pure and delicate as hers
and yet covered by hardness
defense harder than steel
result of years of heartaches
agony
pain
tears
tears
of more tears
endless sleepless nights
trust broken
love no more spoken
a part of her being reawoken

confronted by her truth
and a part of me she holds darely
known her for a month
and it feels like a century
i normally run from conferences
but i'm stuck in her commentary
never trying to get out
i'm friendship sprung
can't you see?

to see those blue eyes
rush
blush cheeks
a warm hug of hers
and yet life is funny that way

my drug
my addiction
my close friend she continues to be
slowly becoming something more
who knows
maybe family

taking it easy
and i'm treasuring what we got
its rare
untold
soon to be reveal
breaking the seal
making it my meal
a kiss of hers
becoming my zeal
its just simply me
how much of me she sets free
forever caught in her detention
hoping her the best in our future
ehem i meant her future
want to thank her for being my teacher
plz
dont say thank you
you help me be
so
thought i'd show you that
this
is
Simply Me
