Out the window, the sky cries
Washing away sin, destroying all our lies

The trees so calm, withstand the rain
So beautifully rare, without any pain

The sun tries to break through the cloud
Holding itself high, showing its proud

My head hangs lower, not wanting to see
The sun is hiding, hiding away from me

Ashamed of what, I have become
Scared from the things, that I have done

Can I say sorry, will you still care?

I didn't mean for this to happen, I swear

The sun broke through, out he comes
Tears have dried, but my mascara still runs

You said no, you didn't need me any more
You yelled and screamed, said you were sure

I tried not to cry, but it hurt like hell
Through teary broken eyes, I just wished you well

I turned my back, never to return
Now, I wasn't of any concern

Can I say sorry, will you still care?
