Reconstruction

by Natalee   Jun 27, 2006

How do you rebuild your heart
When a person has torn it all apart?
You let go of the memories and
Being what they wanted you to be.
How do you reconstruct life
After you courted pain and strife?
You get an emotional band-aid
And keep a reciept of all you paid.
How do you hold up your head
When you try to get out of bed?
You take somebody's hand
And keep together with a rubberband
