Looking through those old poems
That you wrote last year
I see our old closeness,
and our continuing fear

Used to be able to talk for hours
About anything, everything, all of it
Now its empty conversations
And we just dont seem to fit..

Fighting all the time
Stubborness always wins
Maybe we just werent meant
To always be friends

Im so sorry my dear friend,
It seems to be only me
You dont feel this way
But if only you could see

I dont mean to be so frustrating
Unreachable, but always there
I look sad you say
Maybe thats because noone cares

Are you giving up,
On our friendship that doesnt fit
When we said forever,
I thought we meant it..
