My Twisted Lullaby

by Su   Jun 27, 2006

I'll sing myself my twisted lullabies,
I'll hide behind my mask and lies,
I'll dream a dream that can never be,
How it would be if I wasn't me.

I love you but you'll never know,
All there is inside of me,
There's a pain like melted snow,
And a child who cries a sea.

Each night I see their faces,
I'm taken to bizarre places,
They've got me, tormenting me,
It's my unseen reality.

All my setences are lies,
Why am I plotting my own demise?
It feels like I'm standing solitary,
In this uncaring world it's so scary.

I will never tell my secrets,
I'll push them all away,
Don't get close to me, don't have regrets,
Please don't ask if I'm okay.
