Jealousy

by Catie   Jun 28, 2006

What is this after me?
A green monster that I see
Pointy ears, and glowing, green, eyes,
With sharp nails and long, long, cries.

This monster does not care,
If he gives you a scare,
You can feel him in your mind,
You can hear him, laughing, all the time.

This little green monster is always around,
Even when you're feeling down.
This monster might be big and ugly,
But he looks more like humpty, dumpty.

There is only one thing to know,
This monster will never go,
Until the day you say good-bye
To all the sorrows and the sighs.

yea..I wrote this in school and i got a 98 on it..so please rate me!

Nice poem, I liked how you wrote about this and described it as a green monster!
Cool how you asked a question first:

    "What is this after me?
A green monster that I see"

"Pointy ears, and glowing, green, eyes,
With sharp nails and long, long, cries."

Nice how it all rhymed and you were so descriptive in saying what it looked like. Really enjoyed this, thought it was awesome!
