This is my promise to you,
for it will always be true

i will sit here crying over you,
because that's all i can do

i want to feel your touch,
i missed it so very much

i never got to kiss your lips,
i loved it when you would hold my hips

my best friend is now a razor blade,
as i cut, memories of you begin to fade

i wish you would come back for me,
just like i dream it will be

i was always safe in your arms,
you kept me away from all harm

what you left here is meant to be
