Since When?

Since when do we find?
why must we wait?
why should the day be ruined
by unlost, forgotten fate?

since when is it what we're looking for?
what if we find?
what it is we've wanted
in the middle of the night?

since when do we get what we want?
why don't we just ask?
can't the moonlight give us
what we wanted from the past?

since when does anyone die?
death is just a myth
especially if we don't get back
what it is we've missed.
