Summer Love

by His Firecracker   Jun 28, 2006

She leans against his chest and does her best not to cry
wishing with all her heart, they didnt have to say goodbye
she'd gladly give up all she has
for just another day
anything to put off watching him walk away
they've known eachother for less than a week, yet somehow he's stolen her heart
and now the thought of losing him, is tearing her apart
she gives him one last kiss before she lets him go
inside she is dying, but she doesnt let it show
he says goodbye and joins his friends
both of them knowing, this is the end
the week is over; the time to leave has come
lost, but not forgotten is this summer love
