Forever More

As the sun goes down
And the wind blows softly
I can smell the salty air
Brushing upon my hair

Everything seems so lovely
Hand in Hand while walking
Watching every wave that sparkles
Watching every clouds that dazzles

Even though I loved him so dearly
People say NO!
Telling us it can't be
Together, we are not destined to be...

However by the way he whisper in my ear
By the way he looks into my eyes
By the way he caresses me, I can tell...
He loved me as well.

But it's just for now...
That I can hold him close
Because I know we can't be together
But his love surely will last me forever.

    I really enojoyed this poem. It was very well written. I loved the descriptions. The rhymes were good. It flowed well.

    "But his love surely will last me forever."
    ^^ That line kind of confused me. I know what you mean, I guess it's just worded differently. Overall Great poem!
