Time

by XII Sarah IIX   Jun 29, 2006

Time,
feels like an old friend of mine.

we've been through so much,
and at times it's been tough,

but the hands still turn
with every second i learn

that the clock will still tock
if i like it or not

the hours still pass
sometimes not that fast.

when i look at your face
i wish i could erase

the hours of pain
that drove me insane

but now i know
to just take life slow

'cos one day
i''ll pay

to turn the clock back
to a time in my life when things weren't so flat

one thing remains
it's always the same

there's always a clock
to tell me the time
to remind me to cherish
every second that's mine.
