We Have to Deal

by adroit   Jun 29, 2006

This world is so cold
Even with global warming
And hate often grabs hold
On people and it uses them
Children here are never told
The things that are happening
So when the country collapses
They won\'t know what to think
And even though America
Was once made of a good thing
Like the twin towers,
The nation fell
Because it forgot that
There are consequences
And this gravity pulled it down
With the people inside it.
It is a sore that will never heal
And because freedom
Is not something free
It\'s something to steal
And September 11 told us
That hate is something
To be felt, something real.
And we can\'t just hide from it
With it we have to deal.
