AFRICA

by FLIMPPER   Jun 30, 2006

The colour of my skin does not differentiate the strength of my soul.

Bloodlines to Africa Continent rich with gold.

But yet for centuries they haven't been able to taste the fruits of their labour .

You would think a continent so full of gold and diamonds might be able to savor, a taste of what it feels like to be wealthy or even for its children to healthy.

But no, robbed of it's security of what it rightfully owns .

So rich in resource but so many lacking homes.

Bloodlines to Africa so rich thick and pure how much more does this continent have to endure?

when will it get what it deserves , what its land has produced before the people of this land are any more induced,

With lies and deception, wars and aggression.

Let mother Africa be or lesson.

Oh mother Africa speak for so long you've been silent, tell us your land isn't violent.

Tell us your a home to a great race and on this earth you have your place.

STAND UP MOTHER AFRICA!

stand up and stand proud

Open your moth and proclaim high and loud.

I MOTHER AFRICA WILL NOT STAND BY,

while the people of my land let out painful cries. I mother Africa will no longer turn the other cheek.

I will speak for so many years i have be meek

I mother Africa will build and grow
I will flourish and glow

I MOTHER AFRICA WILL BE GREAT!!
