A life of crime

by *the pirate*   Jun 30, 2006

The world sits flat
cold and in pain
a woman screams
crying in vain
the sky is black
dark and neverending
moonlite scars
its seam is mending
the cold air hits you
like shattering glass
sit here waiting
for the feeling to pass
the world is cold
as cold as ice
killing is easy
never think twice
gambling is easy
gamble your life away
just make sure you run
before the devil makes you pay
life is easy
or so they say
just screwing your life
day by day
