Tell Them I'm Still Here

by Gabby   Jul 1, 2006

As I sit here waiting on a cloudy day
It's cold outside, beyond my eyes I see
The day starting to clear up once again
Then I see your face rolling in through the clouds

The beautiful blue sky, shape of your eyes
The soft white clouds, soft as your hair
The shape of the sun shows the brightness in your smile
Mostly everything I see just cant help me be away from you

Everywhere I look, I see your beautiful face
Everywhere I turn I see you standing in place
Every head thats turned will always be mine
Other stop and stare as I just walk on by

But I still watch you with my cold eyes
Wishing that you would soon be mine
Again, like the time when we spent those long nights
Staring at the stars without a care in the world

Love is sometimes confusing
But for me its nothing new
Since Ive always loved you
Nothing seems too cruel

After breaking me down every step of the way
I blew away like the tears on your face
Your black eyeliner streaming down your cheek
Nothing seems too useless nothing seems too weak

Everything was fine until you let me go
Walking away all the way down that lonely road
Lost in confusion, lost once again
Now you have to find me once again, before I fade away
