Why did you leave?

Why won't someone tell me why you had to leave?
And why can't they tell tell me something I can actually believe?
I know it was my fault, but everyone thinks I don't care...
But, I was only 5, young and naive,
Now that I'm 17 I need you to be there.

I know how it feels to be so young and to lose someone...
You try so hard to be like all the other kids -to play and have fun- But, you keep thinking about how unjust life is, and when your time will come

The other kids used to laugh, they thought it was a game...
But, If they knew how it felt, Everything would change.

Your world goes numb that day,
And your asking things that you don't know;
"Why did they leave me?"
"Why don't they want me?"
and "Why did they have to go?"
And even once you've found the answers, you still don't know.
