An Ordanary Day

by Katlyn   Jul 2, 2006

Blood all around
On the ground,
In their hair
Misting in the air

Something went wrong
On an ordinary day
But no one knows what to say.

A man there
A woman here
People all around

The one noise
Befell the crowd
And scattered them all around

Shots were fired
Screams were heard
Loved ones died
Children hurt

Pain and suffering
Is what was felt
Foot steps heard
Pulses checked

Radios buzzed
Cell phones rang
Glass crunching beneath the peoples pain.

Sirens screamed,ed outside the store
Stretchers were brought in
People lifted off the ground
Or coved to show respect of some sort.

Families were called
Children were informed
Men grieved and woman sobbed
Lost ones were morned on an ordinary day.

It started as an ordinary day
A day of love and faith and smiles
But ended as soon for some
On an ordinary day.
