How We\'re Different

You gave me a promise,
A promise to never let me fall,
A promise that you said you never made at all,
You would wait, for i would return,
to a bitter twisted lie,
You gave me hope,
But now it is gone,
Why wont we work?
We wont work because we are different,
No matter how much i want this, it cant be,
for now my love we shall part our tears and turn away
