Scared

Scared to write a poem which reveals too much,

scared to hold on to something thats not within her touch,

scared to trust, in fear of being abused.

scared to love, more often than not it is misused,

scared of dreaming an impossible dream

another path taken to walk a different beam

fear of failing in her life long aspiration

he told her to follow her heart not her imagination

her heart beat with a drive for fame

yet success is more achievable in a safe mans game

scared to walk along in someones elses embrace,

people love to leave, its like its a race,

who can love and let and go the fastest wins,

except in her shoes, she always gives in.

she will love with a kind of love that goes rite through to the bone,

when the race is over why is it shes always alone?

eyes that tell the secret of a passionate ambition,

his curiosity for something more is what shes just missing,

would love to tell him her life and the journey shes been on,

but shes scared to open up and realise everything that is wrong

and so it begins, another race, another day,

to love, let go and then shut it all awayxxx

this is my first poem i have written.wrote it to the most amazing person i have ever met, and although i want to tell him everything about me I'm scared he wont understand or like what he hears.please let me no what you think xxx
