A pack of cards,,
all dealt from the same fate deciding deck,
randomness cud never be more present in life
or is this randomness completely unrandom?
Every card meant, every situation leaving a dent
Cards unfold another story, another smile, another tear
Yet year by year
We grow sometimes in fear
but who cares because you are here
i can take on the whole pack
without looking back
shuffling the deck does not cancel out the pain
it just reorganizes it but not does change the game
The same cards have the same meaning, the same situations in life
why is it that I was dealt, everything with a price
pay the price for a broken love, smothered with a false portrayal
a mother is not a mother who sees nothing wrong within betrayal
a father is not a father who chooses the one he does not know
over his children, who he helped to talk, walk and grow
regret will be with them, forever and a day
while the memories forever in my head will lay
our pasts are reflections of the cards we have been dealt
we all play them differently,
loose some, win some, sometimes in need of some.
You take my cards, pile them high
Add yours, and Im sure well have all the cards for success
Black jack, rummy ,snap or poker
Those are the games meant for the over jokers
I wont play no games ill only play it straight
I lay my cards on the table now, lets undergo fate
Ill call your bluff, if u just open your mind
Open your heart your soul, and let love make us both blind
For if we are without sight, our senses are alive
I want to feel your soft skin, you touch your vibe.
The passion is exhilarating, I smile as u make me shiver from head to foot
