Borderline

by Serenical Darkness   Jul 3, 2006

Many miles are stood aside,
For this voyage left in me.
My ambition to feel you,
Has never been so deep...
As the days get counted down,
And my dream becomes more real.
I take a good look at my past,
And see my true appeal...
I have never been so wrong,
And theres no limit to the reason.
I will show you how,
The pain makes the heart start bleeding...

(chorus)

I took it all away, and threw it in my face,
Reminded me of how I'm such a big disgrace,
I threw me out and left me out in the rain,
Just to remember who's to blame.

So I'm standing here alone,
Still so much for me to see.
How can I even feel you,
Without my roots in deep...
The thing I would do to have you back,
Placed in my arms again.
To make us stronger,
And not blow away in the wind.
I wanted us to build up,
And not come crashing down.
I'm so sorry for this,
Please don't leave me now...

(chorusx2)

Nice...It would be a really cool song if done correctly. Some have great lyrics yet screw it all up with the music and vice versa. Thought that just overall this had been rather well done and liked how this was set up. Words complemented one another quite well.

You were right, I loved this poem/song! Its amazing. Do you write music to this? If not you should try it. Its fun and the poem/song gets a beat and rythym. Awsome Job :)

I would be interested to see how this sounds as music. I think putting a bridge in and shortening the verses could be good but i like the angle you're looking at. Very interesting, keep it up.

    "as never been so deep..."
I think you mean HAS never been so deep.

I loved this!! It was really a good song, but it`s somewhat depressing. But that`s okay, because in my opinion, most of music`s biggest successes are depressing. So I loved it, a lot.
