The Gulf

by Legionarius   Jul 3, 2006

Destroyed now, this world of bliss
I kneel before the alter of Earth.
Gone are the morals of religion,
revived is the mighty war of God.
Holy wars and holy deaths.
The preachers say this will bring them into the eyes of God.
To kill an unbeliever in honourable and glorious. But most slaughtered by the fires of death, have faith and yet the fire now burns their flesh.
What honour is there in the touch of a button?

Who are they to judge the Innocent and the lost. If ignorance there is, help the aphid and kill the ant.
What fight will last in our world today, that comes to bare with thoughtless death?
The voters uplift the leader, who said naught to regard war. None should have wanted to do what they did.
But it has happened and will.
