The Wrong Day...

by Nikki   Jul 4, 2006

We Looked up to the sky
And all we could hear was a deathly cry
No one could see what happened, no one could tell
But we all feared, that we have just entered Hell

Smoke had risen into the blue
Many had no clue
That people were now gone
This was the day that everything went wrong

Many people would run and get out
But others only had the option to shout
This taught Americans to fear
For they are the one who shredded the tear

Hear us weep, Hear us cry
Those people should of never had to die
They were the innocent Americans, just like us all
But they had no clue, that the towers would fall

Many children were at school that day
Just sitting and spelling the words they say
They had no clue, that some were now alone
No one there, when they got home

Out of the smoke came the tears
People cried out with fears
That they had lost their love
In that burning heap of shattered dove

We all began to pray
For the lives that were lost that day
This isn't right, that many are now gone
For this was the day that went terrible wrong...
