Vampire's Kiss

by enfant du tordu chagrin   Jul 5, 2006

Through darkest shadows in the night
Heart pounding with both lust and fright
A presence looms so close behind
And its will caresses your mind

A fleeting glimpse as it passes
Singling you out from the masses
Your heart beats hard, deep within
And shivers glide, down your skin

The fleetest touch, swift as thought
And as suddenly you know you're caught
A grasp of iron about your arm
And yet you have no fear of harm

You turn about and drink it in
Majestic looks, Ivory skin
Chiselled features, a regal bearing
And eyes which seem full of caring

But in it's gaze you become trapped
In its embrace you're slowly wrapped
And by now you know your plight
That all too soon it's going to bite

It tilt's your head and you surrender
And its kiss is oh so tender
Your breath is stolen as you gasp
And melt within its loving grasp

The trail of kisses start to trek
From your lips down to your neck
And soon your senses are afire
Molten lust, breathtaking desire

Its lips draw back, reveal the secret
And by now your future's set
Slowly descending, time stands still
Suddenly its time, for the kill

Fangs pierce flesh, pleasure transcending
And you never want an ending
The crimson life slowly departs
Softly beats your waning heart

And as the blood keeps on flowing
You feel this sinful pleasure growing
But finally with the faintest sigh
In dark embrace, in bliss, you die

This is really really good! it flows really well, like sometimes people just use any words to make their poems rhyme and it sounds wrong, but you make it rhyme really well so that it still flows and sounds right. really good writing keep it up! xxx comment bak if ya want :) xxxBETHxxx
