Ice Angel

by PS   Jul 5, 2006

Surrounded by silver white snow
sitting on a stump of a cold dead tree
holding a soft white bloom kept from spring
the ice angel watches her frost covered forest

silver white hair on a youthfulbody
blue tinted skin that never shivers
covered in useless thin silk
blowing and pressing her body

alone on her lowly throne
she waits, thinking of a fire lord
one who will bring in color
to her colorless eyes.

to make her an angel of all
not just a protector of cold ice.
