Mrs. Who?

by NothingGoldCanStay   Jul 5, 2006

I could'vebeen her.
That old woman there.
On her head a bunch of fur.
Which is actually her hair.

She sits there with her husband.
All calm and serene.
See him there holding her hand.
Watching the summers green.

But now the idea of it all.
Has ran off into the sunset.
Cinderella still at the ball.
The prince has no princess to get.

I couldve been Mrs. Hanshaw.
I couldve loved and lived.
I wouldve screamed when no one saw
when the children ran off and hid.

But I had to kill the love.
And get him pissed at me.
I had to take all of it and shove
it in his face, because i couldn't let him be.

I really wanted to break up.
But I knew you loved me so.
So now i am like ''what the f__''.
Please just let me go.

I never wanted it to end like this.
No, I wanted to love you.
But like a greedy snake I kiss.
And swallow the love I chew.

Nick you were the best.
And I am sorry it never worked out.
Our little lovebird nest.
Ended up with hate and shout.

    I couldve been Mrs. Hanshaw.
