Isnt it beautiful how very simple life can be when we take away the complexity we create within it for ourselves...nature is a perfect example of that. Your poem has a freshness of reality in it though most would find it hard to see past the clouds you were bring a much needed light...great write Steven your a true talent my friend :o) Risa

Steven your poem was very invigorating! You have touched on one of the simplest pleasure in life and that is to feel the warm sun on our face. Too many times we take that for granted. Thanks for reminding me how good that really feels in this busy world.

This directs me in two ways... The beautiful beginning of a fresh summer... Mixed so delightfully with a fresh start, cleansed by the summer sun! Beautiful and so peaceful.

Your poetry is so refreshing and beautiful. And the part I love the most, is that even if I read this poem more than once, I will always find something new. (If that makes any sense at all lol) But anyways... keep up the beautiful writing and take care!

A nice write, the sense of cleansing and rebirth, the beauty of the life giving sun and a new beginning of a fresh day, yet containing a deeper meaning than a first reading would suggest.Excellent write.
