Delicate

The dew that glistens spiders web in mornings forth

carefully balanced undisturbed it lies

the subtle wind can sway and temp descent

but still it shuns to stand its place defy

A dandelions glory sphere of silken seed

the brisk wind’s one last caress to beckon their release

towards the sun with wings aloft and rise

surreal mist of lively elegance drawn towards inspiration.

A drop of water soon collects a gathered chain begins to brave

to gently trickle down the rock like fanward foliage vein

the stream of strong desire towards its destined place at sea

the way is long its rage is heard to them that eaves.

The meadow shelters rosen petals all adorned in strict array

its lure and beauty captures hearts and seems to mend

a ragged wind the rose receives in playful dance ballet

the delicate symmetry hand in hand like special friend.

Thus my tear suspends itself when your presence fades

thus my thoughts they take to flight to you they fight to stray

thus my love it spawns from heart to long the waves embrace

forever shall I keep this scene so delicately traced.
