Fight

by Unknown-Medic   Jul 6, 2006

I got into a fight last night
The fists and feet were fast as light
They said i disrespect
I never knew exactly what they meant

Face to face we stood our ground
We talked, discussed and played around
And then the fist came crashing
With no pain i though it was my game

My lip was busted, my shirt was soaked
The knuckles were in pain
Then with speed of light
I saw a guy run up to fight
I seen that fist before it hit
The pain was there before it did

The flash of light was in my eyes
I knew that everybody dies
That punch was hard its not a joke
It made me realize something though

That second guy was good
I never fought him and i shouldn't
No beef with him i had at all
His buddy is the one i want

Minutes later, i gathered my thought
Still clouded my mind was on what's what
The thing that hurt me the most
Is that my friend just stayed and watched

I got a fracture in my jaw
It hurts a lot but what is worse
A friend of mine can't look me in the eye
He blames himself on that night
He was the reason why we fight

I saved a friend but took a hit
Who cares about pain i keep
I lost a fight so what i say
It is a tiny price to pay
I realized more about life
Just because i lost a fight
