The Goddess

by Mike   Jul 7, 2006

The angels part as she approaches.
The trumpets of heaven fall silent
The wind ceases as her voice floats
Through infinity and back again
She is a goddess among mortals
The beauty in her eyes kidnaps my heart
And holds it for as long as she stares
The sun begins to dim and fade
As the light of her smile flashes
I am nothing, she is everything
The goddess, my inspiration
