The feeling I long for most
Is the feeling of nothingness
To not feel anything
But contentment
To lay under the stars
Breathing the cool night air
Listening to the wind whisper
And the to the rhythm of the grasshoppers
Feeling so light
I feel as if I'm floating among the clouds
No cares in the world
Not a worry to be seen anywhere
My eyes closed
A sigh fogs and slowly fades away
Treasuring this moment
Hoping it never ends
My body is wide awake
Feeling more alive than its ever felt
But I don’t want to move
I just let it all sink in
And drift away into a fantasy
With no anxiety about tomorrow
Or regrets from the past
Just the realization
That everything will be all right again
However hard the path may seem
Where ever it may lead
The suffering will end
The good feelings will stay
And the sun will rise again.
