Sweet Reprimand

by Nathan   Jul 7, 2006

Punched in the gut
I'm Gasping for air.
His belligerent face causes my anger to flair!
This is it I finally decide
no longer will he hurt my pride.
I clench my fist in adamant rage
unleashed at last, from my well kept cage.
I put my fist right in his face
he stars to cry... what a disgrace.
Then his saving demon comes from behind
and reprimands me!! she must be blind!
But even detention cannot begin
to dim this joy I feel within!
The day of my vengeance
comes without penitence
remorse, grievance or shame;
and proclaimed abroad shall be my fame
that it was I who kicked his butt!
