I'm ready for commitment

by The Nameless Poet   Jul 8, 2006

Mistakes were made, time and time again,
As guilty as I was you was as guilty as I am,
I guess it was the pressure of a relationship,
We both coming from a world of unfaithfulness, were not use to this,
The commitment, the loyalty, catering to each other’s needs,
Two independent beings joined hand in hand causes problems you see,
You flirted with my friends, went on dates behind my back,
But I was doing the same but not to get you back,
No baby girl it just don’t work like that,
But I’m willing to stop so I’m sorry girl I love you,
Not only do I say trust I’m going to show you,
And you don’t even got to except my apology,
I’m man enough to admit it so girl acknowledge me,
But when I’m trying to set things right and you don’t tell me you been creeping around,
What’s the sense of me saying sorry when karma don’t come back around.
Changes need to happen, but they won’t if we don’t make a decision,
Stay on the “I get around” days or slow down and avoid us splitting.
