I ain't mad at cha

by The Nameless Poet   Jul 8, 2006

Started off you was stressed out,
Looking for an easy rout to get passed agony and stop the tears from pouring out,
So you began drinking by this your problems began to drown,
But as soon as your buzz leaves them problems came back around,
Now what was just a plan to let loose, a temporary thing,
You drinking 2-6’s of liquor sipping 2/5th’s a day,
I’m afraid it’s not just what you said it was going to be.
You turned into what you promised you wouldn’t, an alcoholic.
Addicted to poison, it’s taking you away and it’s tearing me up inside,
To know that you’re killing yourself with these slow forms of suicide,
First my father now you’re trying to take my other half,
My best friend my angel, the reason I can smile and laugh,
Give her back I won’t let you take her from me,
Stop giving her disillusioned happiness; she needs not darkness but life sunny.
Girl I love you and I’ll be damned if I’m a let some drugs come between us,
I’ll help you threw this phase; I’m going to rise up and free you.
I promise, and you know breaking a promise is something I don’t do,
Especially if the promise made is made out to you,
I’m going to take you away from all the pressure, and all the pain,
Show you some happiness again; you’re going blind,
It’s like your living in denial, let yourself cry,
Get out your prison and tomorrow, all will be fine.
Cause I’ll be there unlike before, when I was gone,
Just come knocking on my door, when something’s wrong.
I’ll wipe away your tears, and kiss your pain,
I can’t eliminate it all but at least you’ll have minor rain.
Just promise me you’ll try and stop, it only gets worse,
And you will only have yourself to blame when it hurts.
What you are doing is breaking my heart but I ain't mad at you,
I may be disappointed in the life you’re pursuing but I ain't mad at you.

this is dedicated to my angel Vicki, she is suffering from alcohol addiction, and it's really effecting my life as well as hers, i love her so much and it is really very upsetting to know a drug is taking her away from me. so people, alcohol is not all fun and pain eliminating, it may seem that way at first, but sooner or later it all falls down.
