One silent night

by *~kat~*~broken reflection~*   Jul 8, 2006

In the silence of the night,
she takes out her razor blade,
every night she loses the fight,
against the blade, she's so afraid,

her soft hands are shaking,
as blood drops from her arm,
her heart breaking,
as she lowers herself to self-harm,

no-one hears her silent cries,
no-one see's the clear tears,
that flow from her beautiful brown eyes,
this has become her greatest fear.

her once pure thoughts,
are now thoughts of death,
she slowly slices her tanned skin,
shortening her steady breath,

more blood drops on the floor,
the blood is from her wrists,
there is more blood than ever before,
is this over, is this it?

her vision slowly fading,
as she falls upon the ground,
air is painfully invading,
she is making no sound.

her broken heart,
has stoped beating,
her pulse,
is no longer racing.

her time here is now done,
she will no longer be mad,
she is in pain no more,
and never again will she feel sad
