THE GIRL WHO DOES NOT CRY

A girl who does not want to cry
And no one understands why
The pain she feels is too much to express
So she turns out to be a complete mess

Emotion is just a word to her, no double meaning
She hears it and only gets one feeling
A numbness that flows through her body
That in a conspicuous way makes her feel like no body
Before they reality of life awakens
She falls into a trance that is highly mistaken
She looses control of her thoughts
Which run away with her and now she is caught
Trapped in a world she can not stand,
Trapped in a world she does not understand
She feels anger and hatred for him
And wonders what she is still doing with him
He lies to her day after day, word after word
She knows he is lying but will not say a word

Why even bother if she knows what he is going to say
â??Babe it is for you that I prayâ??
Yet again she knows it is a lie
And leaves it alone with her only thought WHY?!
So maybe this is why she never cries
Because it is only a world filled with lies.
