Loneliness

by The Disturbed Poet   Jul 10, 2006

Loneliness
It creeps in like an unsuspected rain cloud
Then my thoughts rain down on me
Why must I feel this way?
I'm surrounded by people
Yet I feel all alone
I hate this feeling
Yet it is comforting
Knowing if I'm alone
I have less of a chance to get hurt
So I guess I should be happy with my loneliness
Unless
Unless I find someone to fill the void of my loneliness
Someone I can trust with everything
All my problems
Someone who won't freak out and run because of them
Loneliness
Its a curse and a gift
All at the same time
What a strange gift
Loneliness

Wow. That was great. It is a strange gift, isnt it? Treasure your time alone, but remember that you will always need peeps at some time.
